We offer intensive one to one language workshops; these sessions are very popular and provide an excellent language boost for fast track learners.
We run intensive half day, day and weekend private workshops for our students who wish to make fast track progress in their target language.
All private workshops are on one-to-one basis which means that students can take full advantage of having their tutors for themselves. We prepare a detailed, carefully structured tuition plan for each individual student.

“The London Language Studio offer intensive workshop style sessions which provide several hours of continuous tutoring. I find coming to one of these sessions as often as possible a super effective way of learning. Even though I drive almost 2 hours each way to attend the session the benefits are enormous. I really want to learn Greek and you have to try to immerse yourself in the language so going to a 1 hour class per week doesn’t give the same kind of intensive knowledge transfer and it’s easy to forget what you learned before the next one – as well as only covering very small areas per lesson. In the intensive sessions we cover much larger areas and it really sinks in – and since I’m so busy during the week it’s rare that I get a lot of time to revise my Greek – and even if I only manage 1 intensive session in a month – I still retain far more than I did with weekly lessons. “I was looking for Spanish lessons for a very specific reason and I really wanted the lessons tailored for me. I did a google search and then contacted a number of people advertising Spanish Lessons. Alena from London Language Studio responded to me immediately. When we spoke, she asked lots of pertinent questions and seemed really interested in what I was doing. I felt immediately that I could relate to her and that we would get on well. It was very important to me that I felt comfortable with my instructor.
So, I arranged to spend an hour with Alena so that she could establish what level I was at and find out more about my objectives. As I was driving to my first session, I was wondering why I was travelling for over an hour for my lesson.
But within 5 minutes of meeting Alena, I knew I had made the right decision. She is very warm and made me feel very comfortable. I told her my story of how I went to work in an orphanage in Mexico over Xmas and New Year and it had changed my life. I wanted to learn Spanish so that I can go back to Mexico and spend time with the children and I was also in the process of setting up a charity to help the under privileged children in Mexico. Alena really empathised with me, which meant a lot.
We agreed that I should start having the one to one language workshops which last for five hours. When I returned for my first workshop, Alena had spent hours preparing material tailored around me communicating with the children and terms I would need in the orphanage.
I have found the one to one tuition invaluable, I never would have learnt as much if I had gone to a normal class. And not only has the tuition been invaluable, it has been great fun, Alena has a great sense of humour and the time flies past. She never makes me feel stupid and I feel totally at ease and relaxed. I have the attention span of a gnat so it is a testament to Alena that I look forward to the lessons.
I am going back to Mexico now, much more confident because I can communicate. When I come back, I will continue with my Spanish and as Alena has made it so much fun and easy, I am also considering doing another language, you never know, maybe I’ll learn them all!!
