BBC News magazine published an article about hyperpolyglots on 12 February 2012. It contains an impressive video of Alex, who demonstrates he can speak eleven languages. I am certainly impressed by Alex’s abilities. Being a polyglot myself, I can appreciate his almost impeccable pronunciation and fluency in all of his languages. London wants to learn Italian

Italian lessons in London have been in high demand since the beginning of the year. Unlike last January, when learning Greek was more popular, this year’s New Year resolution was definitely learning Italian. More than 30% of all enquiries at the London Language Studio have been about arranging Italian courses. The demand for private Italian tutors was extraordinary. As a matter of fact, we have hired another three excellent Italian teachers and expanded our team, to cater for the variety of language classes in demand as well as the need for flexible course timings.

Hi Alena, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Regarding the lessons with Zuzana, I’m really enjoying learning with her, and have found that compared to my previous Slovak course I get more time to speak, which is great. My primary aim is to speak Slovak, as my wife has a large extended family, and we both want our children to be able to speak Slovak when we visit grandparents, uncles and aunties, and cousins.
